GreenEngine Capital Inc. specializes in financing projects in developing Countries, with a focus on selective harvesting, solar power grids, and development of carbon credit programs.

These projects are designed to include significant community economic development initiatives aimed at uplifting local economies.

Solar

The initial solar program will support the Abong-Mbang Reforestation for Carbon Credits project in Cameroon. This project aims to restore 20,000 hectares, which is slightly larger than the city of San Francisco (average 12,000 hectares), in East Cameroon. The solar distribution is set up to cover the 60-year lifecycle of the forestry management for carbon credits, which consists of three phases:

Phase 1:
Install 20 solar water stations serving 100 people each; site area 50 to 100 square meters; supply 5,000 to 10,000 liters/day; 2 to 5 kW pump powered by 8 to 12 panels (300 to 400 W); 10,000 to 15,000 liter tank.

Phase 2:
Install and maintain five solar systems serving 1,000 people each; land 1.5 to 2 hectares; 200 to 250 kW capacity (700 to 1,200 panels); 1,500 to 2000  kWh/day; 3,000 to 5,000 kWh battery storage; inverters and monitoring.

Phase 3:
Build two solar power plants serving 10,000 people each; land 15 to 20 hectares; 2 to 2.5 MW capacity (7,000 to 12,000 panels); 15,000 to 20,000 kWh/day; 30,000 to 50,000 kWh battery storage; large-scale inverters and centralized monitoring.

Selective Harvesting

GreenEngine Capital Inc. funds selective  harvesting  programs  in developing  Countries  focusing on environmentally sustainable forestry practices.  These programs involve harvesting high-value tree species while preserving  surrounding natural habitat, including local flora and wildlife. The approach also includes replanting trees to replace those that are removed, ensuring long-term forest health. This model provides immediate economic development opportunities for local communities.

GreenEngine Capital is currently operating in two African countries: Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Each  project spans over 100,000 hectares, significantly larger than New York City, which covers approximately 78,000 hectares. The DRC hosts the largest tropical forest in Africa, making it an ideal location for selective  harvesting   with the potential to generate substantial economic benefits for the region. The company is also in active negotiations with other countries in the region, with the goal of financing and managing several Million   hectares of forest land across Africa.

Carbon Credits

As part of its Greener World agenda, GreenEngine Capital Inc. , identifies
and finances qualified carbon credit projects. The goal is to support large-scale reforestation efforts in areas that have been degraded by mining, over-logging, grazing, and other destructive activities. These programs include training local communities to manage nurseries, plant trees, and ensure the long-term care and health of the forests. In addition to reforestation, the initiative promotes  development of cottage industries and other local revenue-generating activities act linked to the forest ecosystem.

Reforesting the Abong-Mbang Forest, Cameroon

Once a vibrant equatorial forest, the Abong-Mbang region in  Cameroon has suffered decades of degradation due to unchecked logging and wood harvesting. Now resembling savannah, the area presents a unique opportunity for large-scale ecological restoration.

Overview

In the next 60 years, the reforestation project will restore 20,000 hectares, with the potential to remove 6 to 8 million metric tons of COâ‚‚ from the atmosphere. The initiative will generate high integrity carbon credits while revitalizing biodiversity and supporting local communities.

Carbon Credit Pricing Projected at $150/Ton by 2035*

  • Standard Credits: $15–$25 per ton
  • Premium Credits: $35–$45 per ton

Reforestation

GreenEngine Capital Inc. emphasizes the implementation of robust reforestation programs to support its selective harvesting and carbon credit initiatives. These programs involve the establishment of state-of-the-art greenhouses, ongoing training, and collaboration with local universities and colleges to maintain a strong and sustainable reforestation strategy. The nurseries will be equipped with a reliable water supply and operated using off-grid technologies to enable access to remote locations.
